SUMMARY:Feast of Burden 2&5 Miler
DESCRIPTION:Get ready for your Thanksgiving feast by running 2 or 5 miles through downtown Rochester. The race starts outside the Blue Cross Arena and ventures towards the University of Rochester campus. This out and back course is flat\, fast and fun for the whole family. Prizes will be awarded to top overall winners\, top masters\, and top age group winners. \nRegister for either race by November 10th to ensure you will receive a long-sleeve gender-specific shirt. \nWe are excited to be partnering with Special Touch Bakery for our prizes!  There will be pies for our overall 5-mile winners and top age group winners in the 5-mile! We will have awards for the top three runners in each age group for both races. \n\n$25.00 if you register by June 30\, 2019 at 11:59 p.m.\n$27.50 from July 1\, 2019 through August 31\, 2019\n$30.00 from September 1\, 2019 to November 1\, 2019\n$32.50 from November 2\, 2019 to November 16\, 2019\n$35.00 from November 17\, 2019 to November 26\, 2019\n\nOn line registration will close on November 26\, 2019\, at 11:59 p.m.  You can register in person at packet pickup for $40.00.\nMembers of The Medved Endurance Project receive $10.00 off of the entry fee. \nPacket pickup will be at Medved Running and Walking Outfitters on Wednesday\, November 27\, 2019\, from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. You can register for the race at this time for $40.00. We will have packet pickup available at The Blue Cross Arena on race day from 7:30 am to 8:30 am. It will be busy. The race will start at 9:00 am even if there are still people in line at packet pickup. We can only keep the roads closed for a limited time. We STRONGLY suggest picking up your packet on Wednesday or arrive very early for packet pickup. \nRegistration on the morning of the race will be $45.00. SUMMARY:Medved 5K to Cure ALS
DESCRIPTION:The Medved 5K to Cure ALS is held on Father’s Day (Sunday June 18\, 2017) at Frontier Field. Proceeds from this event benefit the ALS Therapy Development Institute to be used for ALS research. \nWith an Olympic style finish\, around the warning track of Frontier Field\, this race features one of the best venues in Rochester running. This event has become a Father’s Day tradition for many families in our area. There is also a Youth 1 Mile Run and 1 Mile Fitness Stroll for walkers of all ages. \nFree Race Entry to anyone who raises $60 or more in contributions to ALS (See Donation Information section below). Individuals who raise $60 or more in contributions for ALS will receive a free entry to the race and a commemorative Medved 5K to Cure ALS t shirt. \nResults\n\nOverall Results\nAge Group Results\nAward Winners\nTeam Results\nOlder 1 Mile Winners\nYouth 1 Mile Winners
