DESCRIPTION:REGISTER\nAre you the GOAT? 🐐🏃🏻‍♀️🐐🏃‍♂️ \nJoin us on May 3rd at 10:00am at Duvall Farms located at 6555 State Route 5&20 Bloomfield for our 3rd Annual Goat Run!\nThis 4 mile run/ walk around the beautiful farm fields of Bloomfield will start at Duvall Farms (where approximately 1/8 mile will be on the grass heading out to the road) and complete a 4 mile loop around the country side ending back at the farm. This is a moderate course and does have rolling hills (just how goats like it!)\nBaby Goats and other petting zoo animals will be at the farm to visit before\, during and after the race. \nRaffles & Giveaways \n$35 per person \nIncludes Shirt if registered by April 19th. After that shirts are not guaranteed. \nEach finisher will receive a medal.\nOverall Winner & Masters Awards. \nWe also will have top 3 runners per age group who will receive an additional award. \nPack pick up will be at Duvall Farms 6555 State Route 5&20 \nFriday 5/1 12:00-6:00pm\nSaturday 5/2 12:00-6:00pm\nSunday 5/3 8:30-9:45am \nProceeds to benefit our rescue goats & sheep at our farm. \nWe love your pups but please keep them home for this race. DESCRIPTION:REGISTER\nPacket Pickup: Friday\, June 5th\, 3:00 – 8:00 PM at Henrietta Recreation Center on Calkins Road (next to Veterans Memorial Park) \nThe Rush-Henrietta Athletic Association\, in conjunction with the Rush-Henrietta Area Food Terminal (RHAFT) and the Town of Henrietta Recreation Department\, invite you to participate in the 9th annual Rush-Henrietta Kicking Hunger 5K in Henrietta\, NY. The 2026 race will provide participants with two options – a live event on Saturday\, June 6th (8 am start) or a virtual event the weekend of Friday\, June 5th to Sunday\, June 7th.  \nThe purpose of this race will continue to focus on bringing awareness and providing tangible solutions to the issue of hunger in our community\, as well as continuing the tradition of promoting exercise and family-centered events in our town. Since 2018\, the race has raised over $53\,000 and also allowed for RHAFT to collect hundreds of non-perishable food items. Race proceeds have directly impacted our local community by helping to fund both the Rush-Henrietta Central School District (RHCSD) Kicking Hunger Summer Food Program and BackPack Program\, as well as providing support for community food and student-centered programs through both RHAFT and the Town of Henrietta. In 2020 and 2021\, the Kicking Hunger Committee distributed more than 1\,800 bags of food to local families through the RHCSD BackPack Program. The race has also allowed for the opening of the Rush-Henrietta School Food Pantry in the Good Shepherd Building on East Henrietta Road. This community resource\, which has been opened since November 2020\, continues to support local families in need. \nPricing: $20 (Under 17)\, $25 (All other participants) until May 23rd\, 2026 / $30 (All participants) after May 23rd\, 2026 \nIF REGISTERING AFTER MAY 20TH\, A LIMITED SELECTION OF T-SHIRTS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT PACKET PICK-UP AND ON RACE MORNING (as long as supplies last) \nPARTICIPANTS MUST BE PRESENT AT THE RACE RAFFLE TO CLAIM PRIZES. In September of 2010 Javier was deployed on his 2nd tour to Afghanistan and 4th total in his 9 years as a Marine. He achieved a rank of Staff Sergeant and Platoon Leader. On November 16\, 2010 Javier was killed by an IED roadside bomb while on foot patrol in an Afghanistan province. Javier represents all of the fallen soldiers who have paid the ultimate sacrifice defending our Freedom. General Gordon Granger led 2\,000 Union soldiers to Galveston\, Texas to ensure the freedom of 250\,000-still enslaved. Rochester\, NY\, home to Frederick Douglass\, is the perfect place to host a Juneteenth Run/Walk! \nThis race is hosted by Irondequoit E.R.A.S.E. (Eliminating Racism And Seeking Equity). Registration fees will go towards our annual scholarships for college-bound Black and Brown students from Irondequoit and Eastridge High Schools. \nOnline registration will remain open right up until the start of the race or until sold out. Race day registration and packet pickup will take place at St. Josaphats Church from 7:15am right up until the start of the race at 8:30am. Participants who registered by Monday\, June 15\, 2026 at 5:30pm are guaranteed to receive a race shirt in their requested size.
