DESCRIPTION:The Crosswinds 5K is a beautiful fall race through Canandaigua\, New York and it is USATF Certified. This fun and challenging course of 20+ years is suitable for the whole family\, but also challenging for the serious runner! Enjoy the first downhill mile through the City of Canandaigua and prepare for the ascent of West Lake Road before conquering the final hill through Ferris Hills. \nBuilding off the momentum of last year\, we are pleased to have two of our race day sponsors back with us! Live music from the Rolling Heads and a delicious post-race breakfast prepared by The Love Handles Eatery. \nThis race is fun\, challenging and memorable\, but its purpose is to invest in our areas children. All of our proceeds go to The Spot\, an organization that provides FREE school supplies\, clothing\, food\, and shoes to UPK-12th grade students in need within the Canandaigua and Victor school districts! Last year\, we as a race community\, were able to donate $11\,500! With your help\, we would love to set a new record this year!

Help us in raising awareness of the symptoms\, risk factors\, prevention and early detection for cervical\, ovarian\, endometrial/uterine\, vaginal or vulvar cancer\, because as The Foundation for Women’s Cancers states\, every five minutes\, a woman will be diagnosed with one of these cancers. Show your support as we honor and celebrate the women and families in our community impacted by Gynecologic Cancers.

Run\, walk\, or just join our virtual community for the fun updates\, posts and pictures! \nIn just over 8 years\, ROCovery Fitness has engaged more than 7\,500 individuals in recovery from alcohol and substance use disorder. We provide a safe place for recovery of both mind and body\, helping people rebuild their lives and rediscover their inner strength and confidence through adventure\, fun\, and sober social connection. \nThe ROCovery Fitness 5K celebrates the hope we find in recovery\, and remembers loved ones who have been lost to the disease of addiction. DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the 4th annual Run for Rhinos presented by Reimer Home Services with the Buffalo Zoo on World Rhino Day\, September 22nd. Back this year: an in-person race that includes a race through Delaware Park and ends in the Buffalo Zoo. Your race registration includes a ticket to the Zoo on September 23. Sign up today – the race price increases on September 8! \nNew this year: Participants can help raise additional funds for the International Rhino Foundation by selecting the option for additional fundraising! Prizes will be given to the top 3 fundraisers! \nThis year\, we are raising funds for the Buffalo Zoo and the International Rhino Foundation\, a leading international rhino conservation organization. \nAll registrants will receive a race a t-shirt and race packet that can either be picked up 9/20 and 9/21. \nShare your photos on social media using the hashtag #RunForRhinos and tag the Buffalo Zoo! \nThe Run for Rhinos is brought to you by Reimer Home Services\, the Buffalo Zoo and the ProZoo Board of the Buffalo Zoo. \nPacket pickup information is available below. \n\nPacket pickup will take place September 20th and 21th from 5-7pm at the Buffalo Zoo. There will not be day-of packet pickup.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRace Packet Pickup\n\n*Shirts will be available for pickup for all registrations that occur prior to 9/22* \nRace packets will be available for pickup during the following times (note: there will be no packet pickup prior to the run on September 22nd): \nSeptember 20\, 5-7pm @ The Buffalo Zoo parking lot (near the parking payment machine and front gate) \nSeptember 21\, 5-7pm @ The Buffalo Zoo parking lot (near the parking payment machine and front gate) \nPLEASE NOTE: For all Buffalo Zoo Parking Lot pickups\, the parking lot can be accessed for free up to 15 minutes for pickup. You do not need to have a reservation to the Zoo to gain entry. Any time above 15 minutes is subject to additional charges. If there is inclement weather\, we will cancel packet pickup for the day and reschedule to a new date and time. An email will be provided with the update. For race day parking\, the Buffalo Zoo parking lot will be open and available. Please note the cost per hour for paid parking. Street parking is available around the Zoo (please note the Ring Road is closed to cars/parking).

Run our Trails will be the the LAST Tuesday of every month (April – September) We will be reserving the Hopkins Point Lodge in Mendon Ponds Park for restroom access.
