Championship Day is Sunday\, November 9th. \nThese races are for the most experienced runners as well as beginners to the sport of Cross Country running. It’s fun for all and anyone may participate. DESCRIPTION:REGISTER\nDon’t forget to bring a canned good to donate to the food pantry! \nThe Livonia Turkey Trot is back! All race donations will benefit the Friends of Livonia and all canned goods collected will be donated to a local food pantry! \nThe in-person run/walk is a 3.1 mile course through the Village of Livonia\, New York\, which is located within the beautiful Finger Lakes Region. Invite your family and friends to partake in this festive and memorable Thanksgiving tradition. \nIn 2025\, we will also have a virtual 5K option. You can get the same swag and run at your own time on a course of your choosing. \nEvery participant to register before 11/1/2024 is guaranteed a cotton t-shirt. \nDon’t want a shirt? Choose that option and save $5 on your race fee! \nPrefer a tech shirt? Choose that option and it will add $6 to your registration! \nSTART/FINISH\nThe 3.1 Mile Run will start and finish in the Middle/High School Bus Loop. The official race start time is set for 8:00am. \nWe will also have a 1/2 Mile kids race at 8:45!  This normally takes place on the track however due to the construction it will happen at the field right by the finish line. \nLivonia High School\n2 Bulldog Blvd\nLivonia\, NY 14487 \nREGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP\nOnline registration will remain open right up until the start of the race. Pre-race packet pickup will be available: \nWednesday from 3:00-7:00pm at Livonia High School. \nRace day registration and packet pickup will take place in the Middle School Gynasium from 6:30am right up until the start of the race at 8:00am. Race shirts guaranteed to everyone who registers by 11/1/24. Extra shirts (if any) will be distributed on a first-come\, first-serve basis. \n3.1M Run/Walk Registration- Price includes processing fees\n$25 through 10/1/24\n$28 10/2/24 through 11/24/24\n$30 Race Day Registration \n3.4 Mile Run Family Discount- All Kids who race the run for $15 including fees no matter when you sign up! \nWe lowered the price this year for kids and we are offering an optional medal for purchase for $5.  $21 will get your child a race entry\, shirt and medal and includes processing fees. Medals are limited quantity and no longer available once sold out. \nNote: All runners who register by November 1\, 2024 will be guaranteed to receive an official race shirt! SUMMARY:Race with Grace 5K and 10K
DESCRIPTION:The Race with Grace 10K \nWhy RwG 3.0?The Race with Grace (RwG) 10K was established in 1991 as an outgrowth of the participation of several men in the Spencerport Canal Days races during the mid-1980’s.  It had a two-fold purpose\, the more important one being a community outreach.  Secondarily\, it was play on the current Pastor’s name\, George Grace\, who was a runner. \nIn our inaugural year we had 185 registrants and 171 finishers.  Our attendance peaked in 2015 when we celebrated our silver anniversary race with 1245 registrants and 1121 finishers.  Over the race’s 31-year existence\, a total of approximately 5\,000 individuals have participated.  Five men remain who have finished every single RwG and ran virtually in 2020.  They are Stan Cipira\, Bob Dyjak\, Dave O’Leary\, Ric Perry and Doug Ralph. \nThe race established itself as one of the best races in western NY.  It has consistently been named one of NY’s finest races by New England Runner magazine.  In addition\, it has been recognized as one of the cornerstone races in the Rochester Runner of the Year series.  All proceeds\, once race expenses are deducted\, go to support C.U.R.E. Childhood Cancer Association.\nWith the current race director stepping down due to work and family obligations\, no clear choice for a successor\, the race’s future appeared to be at crossroads. Thankfully\, as the “door” on the race was quickly closing\, the Rochester Running Company and Lakeshore Community Church agreed to manage and host this year’s race. \nAbout Lakeshore Community Church:\nFounded in 1995 by Vince and Sue DiPaola\, Lakeshore Community Church exists to help people discover and develop a growing relationship with Jesus. It’s a place where you can be real\, strengthen your relationships\, and make an impact in our world. When you’re ready\, check out Lakeshore for yourself; Sundays at 9 and 11am\, in person and online at live.lakeshorechurch.org. \nQuick Race info:\nThe entry fee includes a long-sleeved tech shirt. (The 1/4 Zip up can be upgraded at check out instead of the L/S T-Shirt\, you will ONLY get the Zip Up if you upgrade) Sizes are guaranteed if you register prior to November 1\, 2025. There will be plenty of food and refreshments\, complete computerized race results available online\, and race photos. DESCRIPTION:REGISTER\nLOCATION: Both the 5K and the 1-mile Fun Run start and end behind Victor’s Town Hall\, 85 East Main Street Victor\, New York 14564. \nTIME: Both races will kick off at approximately 9:15 a.m on Thanksgiving morning! It is super helpful if packets can be picked up on Wednesday (the night before the race) from 5:00-7:00 p.m.  at the Victor Town Hall.  If you can’t make it\, no worries\, the remaining packets will be available on Thanksgivng starting at 7:00 a.m. at the Victor Town Hall. \nPRICING:  $10 children and teens; $20 adults (20 years old and up). \nT-SHIRTS: Custom Turkey Trot shirts are available for advance purchase\, but are not included in the registration price. Shirts ordered by 11/10 are guaranteed to be available when you pick up your race packet.
