DESCRIPTION:We are inspired by the Rochester Mile and the McMullen Mile and would love to give Rochester more opportunities to run your best mile. \nThis is a fast downhill mile in the Mt. Hope Cemetery with very few turns. \nThe race day looks like this:\n5:00 PM: Pre-race party – vendors and packet pickup at Rochester Running Company.\n6:10 – 6:25 PM: Review of running mechanics – The importance of mid-foot striking and getting in shape before you run. By physical therapist Ryan Healey\, DPT and Dan Geen\, PT owners of GVPT\n6:30 – 6:45 PM: Dynamic warm up by GVPT staff\n7:00 PM: 1 Mile Downhill Mile Race in Mt. Hope Cemetery.\n7:30 PM: Post-race party – At Grappa – kick the keg with $2.50 beers\, light snacks and food/other beverages available to order. \nThis is meant to be a low-cost event but enjoying getting out with friends and seeing how fast you can run a mile or\, if this is your first mile\, to prove to yourself you can! \nResults\n\nOverall Results\nAward Winners
