DESCRIPTION:New for 2023: SECOND Tuesday this season!  \nDescription: Join us on the SECOND Tuesday of every month for a 5K race along the river.  The course will remain the same throughout the summer so you’ll get the chance to compare your progress throughout the year. **Keep in mind the River Path is a PUBLIC path\, so there will be other runners\, walkers and bikers on the path\, please be aware of your surroundings\, headphones are discouraged** \nPeople of all speeds and abilities are welcome and encouraged. Sign up for 1 race or the entire series of 6 races! \nWHAT YOU GET: Officially timed race\, live results\, series leaderboard\, a chance for prizes for each race. Each month you run you are entered into the series race page to see how your time stacks up throughout the entire series. \nThose who registered for the series prior to May 9th (Race 2) get a FREE 16oz Can Cooler (Limited to first 100)  \nYou must complete 4/6 races to be eligible to win overall series awards!  (Age Group and Series)  Each race will have a small give-away (expect a nutrition item or small running related knick-knack) \nVibe: Low frills\, everyone encouraging each other to do their best.  Fast times\, slow times… lets make some memories. \nRegistration: Opens February 15th \nPacket Pickup for ALL RACES\nMonday Prior to Race Day: 11-7 at Rochester Running Company\nTuesday DAY OF RACE: 11- 4 at Rochester Running Company (hard cut off at 4PM) and 5:30 – 6:15 PM at the course \nWhen: April 11\, May 9\, June 13\, July 11\, August 8\, September 12 \nRace starts at 6:15pm SHARP at the River Path \nRace Map: Same for 2022 – Same Start Finish this year\nSTART/FINISH: Behind Corn Hill Landing Plaza (270 Exchange Blvd) \nCost: $25.00\n(Kids/Young adults under 18 years of age are $11.00) \nBundle Option: Sign up for all series races for $100. That’s 6 races and a CamelBak Stainless Steel Can Cooler. Run our Trails will be the the LAST Tuesday of every month (April – September) We will be reserving the Hopkins Point Lodge in Mendon Ponds Park for restroom access. The plan is to run the various trails around Mendon Ponds Park\, each month will be a different trail with a slightly different distance as well.

DESCRIPTION:September is National Recovery Awareness Month. \nROCovery Fitness’ 9th Annual 5K Run/Walk and X-Challenge is a celebration of fitness and recovery\, and an important fundraiser for this life saving organization—and again this year\, it is both in-person and virtual so you can run and enter your results from anywhere in the world all month long! Run\, walk\, or just join our virtual community for the fun updates\, posts and pictures! \nIn just over 8 years\, ROCovery Fitness has engaged more than 7\,500 individuals in recovery from alcohol and substance use disorder. We provide a safe place for recovery of both mind and body\, helping people rebuild their lives and rediscover their inner strength and confidence through adventure\, fun\, and sober social connection. \nThe ROCovery Fitness 5K celebrates the hope we find in recovery\, and remembers loved ones who have been lost to the disease of addiction. Whether you are running for yourself\, for someone you love\, or for someone you’ve lost\, we hope you will run (or walk!) for ROCovery Fitness! \nIf you are a person in recovery who is in need of financial assistance to sign up for the 5k please email us at mail@rocoveryfitness.org and we will discreetly scholarship you for your entry fee. \nAll runners and walkers will receive a swag bag with a custom bib and race t-shirt! \nSign up by 6/30/23 for the early bird registration price!  All memorial signs must be ordered by 8/31/23.  Kids 10 and under are just $10 registration fee. SUMMARY:Pete Glavin XC Series - Race 1 - 5K
DESCRIPTION:Come run the best Cross Country races in Upstate NY for Open and Master’s runners. Individual and Club members compete for individual age group prizes and team awards. Members of Upstate NY Clubs compete for Series points\, awards\, and bragging rights. Championship Day is Sunday\, November 12th\, and the Niagara LDR series race is November 5th. \nThese races are for the most experienced runners as well as beginners to the sport of Cross Country running. It’s fun for all and anyone may participate. The PGXC series is now in its 33rd year with five races hosted by local clubs in locations throughout the Western NY. \nPGXC Series Awards: Overall winners M/W – $100 Wegman’s gift card\,    Age Group winners in10 year increments – $50 Wegman’s gift card\,   Top 10 in every age group – Wagner Vineyards Riesling\,   Top 3 teams in each age group will receive awards \nRace 4 USTAF Niagara Awards: Niagara XC Championships  (Nov 6th)  $1000 purse: $250 Open Teams M/W\,  $250 Open Master’s Teams (based on age grading) \nRace 4 USTAF National Awards: Niagara XC Championships   (Nov 6th)  $400 stipend for winning Open M/W teams to attend the USATF Club Nationals December 2023 \nRegistration:  All runners are strongly encouraged to pre-register online.   USATF Membership Discounts for Series($5)
