DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the 4th annual Run for Rhinos presented by Reimer Home Services with the Buffalo Zoo on World Rhino Day\, September 22nd. Back this year: an in-person race that includes a race through Delaware Park and ends in the Buffalo Zoo. Your race registration includes a ticket to the Zoo on September 23. Sign up today – the race price increases on September 8! \nNew this year: Participants can help raise additional funds for the International Rhino Foundation by selecting the option for additional fundraising! Prizes will be given to the top 3 fundraisers! \nThis year\, we are raising funds for the Buffalo Zoo and the International Rhino Foundation\, a leading international rhino conservation organization. \nAll registrants will receive a race a t-shirt and race packet that can either be picked up 9/20 and 9/21. \nShare your photos on social media using the hashtag #RunForRhinos and tag the Buffalo Zoo! \nThe Run for Rhinos is brought to you by Reimer Home Services\, the Buffalo Zoo and the ProZoo Board of the Buffalo Zoo. \nPacket pickup information is available below. \n\nPacket pickup will take place September 20th and 21th from 5-7pm at the Buffalo Zoo. There will not be day-of packet pickup.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRace Packet Pickup\n\n*Shirts will be available for pickup for all registrations that occur prior to 9/22* \nRace packets will be available for pickup during the following times (note: there will be no packet pickup prior to the run on September 22nd): \nSeptember 20\, 5-7pm @ The Buffalo Zoo parking lot (near the parking payment machine and front gate) \nSeptember 21\, 5-7pm @ The Buffalo Zoo parking lot (near the parking payment machine and front gate) \nPLEASE NOTE: For all Buffalo Zoo Parking Lot pickups\, the parking lot can be accessed for free up to 15 minutes for pickup. You do not need to have a reservation to the Zoo to gain entry. Any time above 15 minutes is subject to additional charges. If there is inclement weather\, we will cancel packet pickup for the day and reschedule to a new date and time. An email will be provided with the update. For race day parking\, the Buffalo Zoo parking lot will be open and available. Please note the cost per hour for paid parking. Street parking is available around the Zoo (please note the Ring Road is closed to cars/parking).

DESCRIPTION:Town of Ogden Parks and Recreation/ Kiwanis Club of Spencerport\nPineway Ponds Park 5K Run/Walk \nSeptember 23\, 2023\n\n5K RUN/WALK  \nPrior to August 21- $30\, includes race shirt and swag bag.\nAugust 21- September 10- $35\, race shirt and swag bag available as supply allows.\nSeptember 11-21- $40\, race shirt and swag bag available as supply allows.\nSeptember 22 & 23- $45.  Day of race registrations may be limited and will take place between 7:45-8:00am at Pineway Ponds Park. We recommend pre-registering to guarantee a spot in this year’s event.\nLocation:  Pineway Ponds Park\, Spencerport NY.  Our course is certified to be accurate by USATF #NY15107KL.  The 5K Race is primarily roads\, crossing 2 bridges\, beginning and ending at Pineway Ponds Park.\nDue to supply shortages\, we are not able to guarantee shirt sizes or availability.  No refunds or transfers.\n*Please Note:  there is no virtual option this year.  We look forward to seeing all of our participants cross the finish line at Pineway Ponds Park!\nThis year’s race beneficiary is the WIllie Bee Foundation.  This organization works through referrals from medical providers to benefit local families who have a child facing a life-threatening illness.  For more about this organization\, please visit www.thewilliebeefoundation.org\n\nSWAG\nRegister prior to August 21 to be receive a gift bag!  Due to supply shortages\, we are not able to guarantee shirt sizes or availability of giveaways.\n\nAWARDS\nPrizes will be awarded for the top male/female runners in different age categories.\n\nPACKET PICK-UP\nPacket pick-up will take place at the Ogden Community Center\, 269 Ogden Center Road\, the week of the event.  Further details will be sent to registered participants via email.\nRace-day packet pickup begins at 7:45am and ends by 8:15am.
