We provide a safe place for recovery of both mind and body\, helping people rebuild their lives and rediscover their inner strength and confidence through adventure\, fun\, and sober social connection. \nThe ROCovery Fitness Run/Walk event celebrates the hope we find in recovery\, and remembers loved ones who have been lost to the disease of addiction. Originally created by Bill Kehoe in the ’90s and brought back in 2020 before… we are back with 4 races. \nThis series is designed to be low cost and keep you active over the winter months. You can sign up for each race individually or all as a series! \nRegister\n\nSeries Registrants Receive:\n\nPolar Cats Sweatpants (option to upgrade to a pair of Vuori Joggers if you really wanna get fancy)\nRace t-shirt for Jinglin All the Way 5K\, Race #1\, in Leroy\nRegistration for all 4 races\nRefreshments at the conclusion of all races\nChance to win age group prizes at each race\nChance to win series prizes\n\nPacket pickup will be:\n\nThe day before the race @ Rochester Running Company from 11AM – 4PM\nRace Day @ Race location 1 hour prior to race\n\nThere will be winners of each race as well as series winners for those who signed up for all 4! SUMMARY:Steve's 5k to Run Down Cancer
DESCRIPTION:The event is being held to honor Steve Rettke and support sarcoma research at the Wilmot Cancer Institute. \n\nThe 5k run/walk will begin roadside at Stewart Lodge in Mendon Ponds Park. Start time is 9AM. The race will take place on a mostly paved course on scenic park roads with some rolling hills. It will finish on a downhill back to the Lodge.\nA FREE childrens’ fun run will take place at 10 AM and will begin at Stewart Lodge. This will be a short dash in the field adjacent to the lodge. SUMMARY:Steve's 5k to Run Down Cancer
DESCRIPTION:The event is being held to honor Steve Rettke and support sarcoma research at the Wilmot Cancer Institute. \nThe 5k run/walk will begin roadside at Stewart Lodge in Mendon Ponds Park. Start time is 9AM. The race will take place on a mostly paved course on scenic park roads with some rolling hills. It will finish on a downhill back to the Lodge. \nA children’s fun run will take place at 10 AM and will begin at Stewart Lodge. This will be a short dash in the field adjacent to the lodge. All participants will receive ribbons and a coupon for a FREE Wendy’s Frosty Jr. treat. \nThe post race party at 10:30 AM will feature refreshments followed by the awards ceremony and random bib number based door prize drawings. \nResults\n\nOverall Results\nAge Group Results\nAward Winners
