April 18 @ 9:00 am| $25
The 2020 race will be on April 18th at Churchville-Chili School District behind the Middle School. The race will begin at 9:30am. You will want to use the Fairbanks Road entrance to the district, not the Senior High School. Once you are in, just follow that road straight between Fairbanks Road Elementary School and the Middle School and you will go back near the track. Registration takes place in the Middle School cafeteria and opens up on race day at 8:30am. You will see plenty of volunteers and signs to help get you to the correct spot!
USTAF Certified Road Race that starts on the campus of Churchville School District, run the Road for about 2 miles along Fairbanks Road and Westside Drive and then finishes on the Track at the High School.
Our 5K is in remembrance of Daniel Myslivecek, who lost his battle with Melanoma at the age of 16. A friend of Daniel’s organized the first 5K in 2005 to help the family with medical costs. Daniel ran in that first race and died 4 months later from his illness. The 5K has continued with the support of our community and each year the proceeds are given to a family or organization that helps children with a life-threatening illness while heightening Melanoma awareness. Our organization has also partnered with the Golisano Children’s Hospital. In a three year period we raised $25,000 for support of the hospital and are fortunate enough to have a piece of the hospital in Daniel’s name.
