Taking place along the north end of Canandaigua Lake, this 2nd Annual 5k Run and Walk will follow Kershaw Park, through Lagoon Park and end near Canandaigua Crossfit. This event is a fundraiser for The Community Support Center, a not-for-profit organization focused on building healthy lives through Connection, Purpose and Creativity.

This family friendly course encompasses the natural beauty of Meridian Centre Park through the flat trails and finishes along the Historic Erie Canal. Proceeds from this event will allow Angels of Mercy to expand their services and support women that have been victims of abuse and trafficking.

The Black Diamond Express is the first half marathon event in the southeast portion of the county – and a flat and exceptionally beautiful one at that! The 5K starts in the Hamlet of Mendon near the baseball fields south of Route 251, loops, and ends right where it began!
This event benefits patients of the Wilmot Cancer Institute’s Sands Cancer Center at UR Medicine’s Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua, with proceeds specifically going to the Patient Special Needs Fund, so local patients can pay for supplies and procedures not covered by insurance.
