Homecoming Fun for the entire family! The Monroe Community College Foundation is sponsoring the 5K Walk/Run for Scholarships on Saturday, October 6, 2018. The race begins at 11:00 with pre-race activities beginning at 9:30. The event includes commemorative t-shirt, children's activities, photo booth, rock-climbing wall, free on-site parking.
In celebration of Halloween, participants are encouraged, but not required, to come dressed in costume. Medals will be given to the top 10 individual costumes and medals to the six pack team with the fastest and best Halloween theme costumes.
The Penfield Education Foundation is excited to be hosting the second annual PEF 5K. This race/walk will start and end at the Penfield High School track on Sunday, October 14, 2018. This community 5K race/walk is intended to provide a morning of healthy exercise while supporting the Penfield Education Foundation (PEF). Children’s races will follow the running of the 5K.
This is the 5th year of the St. Peter’s Running with the Angels race(s). In early 2017, we lost the race founder, Wendell Hercules, a staple member of the church, the community, and the Rochester running scene in recent years. In his honor, the race was renamed with his namesake.
This is a fast flat course through the village of East Rochester being very well marked with 2 water stops. The race is a part of the "Rochester Runner of the Year Series" and receives outstanding support from residents that cheer participants to the finish line.
The Jack-O-Lantern 5k & Kids Dash is meant to be an event for the entire family! We encourage families to run together. You can walk, jog or sprint this course; it’s just about moving together.
Held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 3PM in Geneva, the event will help support Camp Onseyawa. All ages welcome but those over 21 can enjoy a free post-race beer. There will be snacks provided as well, including pizza, apples, water, and more.
