Monroe Community College 5K Walk/Run for Scholarships

Homecoming Fun for the entire family! The Monroe Community College Foundation is sponsoring the 5K Walk/Run for Scholarships on Saturday, October 5, 2019. The race begins at 11:00 with pre-race activities beginning at 9:30. The event includes commemorative t-shirt, children's activities, photo booth, free on-site parking.

5K Race is primarily roads, beginning and ending at Pineway Ponds Park. Our course is Certified to be accurate by USATF #NY15107KL.

Daniel’s 5k

Daniel's 5K is a road race that begins on the campus of churchville-chili and finishes on the stadium track. The proceeds from our race are donated two local families with children battling cancer and the University of Rochester Medical Center — Golisano Children's Hospital.

11th Annual Scare Brain Cancer Away 5K Run/Walk

Last year’s race, the 10th Annual Scare Brain Cancer Away 5K, saw its biggest participation of nearly 1,400! We were able to donate $30,000 to the Wilmot Cancer Institute for use by individuals suffering from this dreaded disease. We will once again be hosting this event on Saturday, October 19th, which is part of the Runner of the Year series. Mark your calendars and come out to run a fast flat course while being cheered on by residents of the community

Shark in the Park

Run is on the South Meadow Trail. One loop for 5k, two loops for the 10k run. It is put on by Sharkbytes, Inc to benefit shark conservation.

Penfield Education Foundation 5K

The Penfield Education Foundation is excited to be hosting the second annual PEF 5K. This race/walk will start and end at the Penfield High School track on Sunday, October 14, 2018. This community 5K race/walk is intended to provide a morning of healthy exercise while supporting the Penfield Education Foundation (PEF). Children’s races will follow the running of the 5K.
