The 3rd annual Rochester NY Sepsis Challenge 5k and 1k Run and Walk will begin at Genesee Valley Park, in Rochester, NY on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 9am. Participants will enjoy the scenery as they run or walk around the park in order to raise awareness of sepsis as a medical emergency.

This is a great event for competitive and casual runners, walkers, and families alike, participants of all ages enjoy the picturesque course through Seneca Park Zoo adjacent to Seneca Park.

Run is on the South Meadow Trail. One loop for 5k, two loops for the 10k run. It is put on by Sharkbytes, Inc to benefit shark conservation.

This is the 21st Annual event Co-Sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce & Finger Lakes Regional Burn Association, and is open to the public. The 5K Race and Walk will travel through the Town/Village on a USATF certified course.

The Certified Course takes you down along the trail running along Lake Ontario. Festival immediately following the race with chicken BBQ, beer/wine garden, live music and more!

The course travels a relatively flat route through the historic Village of Honeoye Falls. With its annually scheduled date of the first Wednesday in August the race offers a great opportunity as a team-building activity for your organization or as a keep-in-touch summer activity for students.
